The dance of the macheteros is a manifestation of San Ignacio de Moxos, of the struggle for identity and the preservation of culture, threatened by transculturation, this series captures its spirituality and energy through shapes and colors.

This warrior dance has its origin in the colonial period, it represents the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his ascension to heaven, but from a native interpretation.
